dias quentes

Na Praia-das-Maçãs, hoje não chegou a nascer o Sol;
O tempo esteve completamente fechado de manhã até à noite;
As pessoas que chegavam da Cidade, de Lisboa, falavam-me de calor insuportável - 36 Graus;
Ali, naquele estranho lugar na Foz do Rio das Maçãs, apenas a 30 Kms de Lisboa, a máxima não ultrapassou os 18 Graus;
Dizia-me o peixeiro, hoje de manhã, no mercado:

Pois, foi assim o dia, acreditem, que só me apetecia acender a lareira e ficar por ali amodorrado e quentinho a remoer as mágoas;
Acordei triste e permaneci triste (como o tempo ou talvez com o tempo) durante todo o dia;

In Apples Beach, today it did not arrive to be born the Sun;
The whether was completely closed from morning till noon;
People who arrived from the City, Lisbon, they told me about the terrible heat - 36 Degrees C.
But in that strange place in the Estuary of the River of Apples, not far from (30 Kms) from Lisbon, the maximum did not pass the 18 Degrees C, during the day;

This morning, at the market, the fisherman said me:
And there we are, again in the end of the month. August finished the same way as it started.
Mi mind was in a little delay, but I in a moment I reach to synchronize the thoughts and I remembered that in the first day of the month, he had said me:
You know, my friend, first of August, first of Winter. It looks at there, the Widow is spread by the hillside of the Mountain range below until the Penedo Village - today the day does not going to raise.
Peopple call “Widow” to that closed mist that “drains” sometimes, too many times, the hillside West of the Mount of the Moon and that it is a Weather Forecast to the oldest inhabitants of the Valley of Colares.
